When the Nests crumble and the Bees die
and there's a thick cloud under a big blue sky
Pushing and pressing and pulling us in
to molds and routines that just begin...
The news reports the things they don't see
And all of the every concerns Worker Bee
Watching the Nests topple and fall
as the Bees perish a few stare in awe
And everything that we always though
has been disrupted by the smoke fought
Taking assumptions that were meant to be
aren't as secured as we'd hope to see...
Despite all things tragic and the put downs
the loss/misery seen all around
when we step back and look inside
don't we feel all right?
And as all the Combs melt and churn
with not so much of a stitch of worth
All the consumption of Nectar turns
into a bitter Honey that continues to burn
